Learn more about our work with Microsoft: Valence Brings AI Coaching More Deeply Into the Flow of Work with Microsoft 365 https://www.valence.co/blog/valence-microsoft-365-may-2026 Our focus is on the problems that actually decide whether AI changes how organizations operate — the ones with no playbook, no obvious answers, and no guarantee of success. If you want to be part of the small group that defines how AI transforms the future at a global scale, this is your chance. And this isn’t for everyone. We’re not looking for people who want predictability or incremental progress. We only want those who are restless at the edge of what’s possible, who get bored when things feel “done,” and who are driven to redefine what AI can mean for leaders, companies, and the world. Because at Valence, the work worth doing is the kind that redefines work itself. The Role In this role, you'll work directly with senior leaders — including CHROs and CEOs at Fortune 500 companies — to help them navigate one of the hardest challenges in business today: meaningful AI adoption. This is a consultative, long-cycle commercial role focused on executive relationships, business case development, pilot design, and complex enterprise buying processes. It sits at the intersection of enterprise sales, commercial strategy, and category creation. You won't inherit a rigid territory model or a mature playbook. You'll help build how we win. We're intentionally reinventing the traditional enterprise sales motion by investing in deep, strategic problem-solvers who can engage thoughtfully on complex organizational change. You'll be responsible for advancing enterprise opportunities and driving new customer growth, while partnering closely with Product, Customer Success, and Leadership to refine our go-to-market approach as the category evolves. Success comes from judgment, ownership, and the ability to turn trusted executive relationships into durable enterprise partnerships. There are no individual commissions and no high-volume outbound expectations. Compensation is team-oriented — we win together, we lose together. We've been featured in Harvard Business Review, TIME, the World Economic Forum, Financial Times, and Forbes, and named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America. Our clients include Coca-Cola, Delta, Nestlé, General Mills, Schneider Electric, Deutsche Telekom, AstraZeneca, Prudential, CVS, and Bristol Myers Squibb — the companies defining what AI-first business transformation looks like across every major industry. What You'll Do - Own and advance complex enterprise opportunities from initial engagement through close. - Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, including CHROs, CEOs, and other C-suite leaders. - Develop compelling business cases that link AI adoption to measurable organizational outcomes. - Design and structure pilots that demonstrate impact and accelerate enterprise buy-in. - Partner cross-functionally with Product, Customer Success, and Leadership to refine positioning and unlock expansion. - Translate market signals into clear commercial insights that shape how we go to market. - Lead or contribute to high-impact strategic initiatives across the company, from partnerships to new market exploration. - Help build the foundation for a scalable, differentiated commercial motion as Valence grows. What We're Looking For - 6–10+ years of experience in commercial strategy, and/or complex client environments. - Experience influencing high-stakes, multi-stakeholder enterprise decisions. - A track record of driving meaningful outcomes in client-facing or commercial settings. - Comfort taking ownership of enterprise opportunities and being accountable for growth. - Motivation to both drive GTM strategy and lead commercial processes, quickly iterating on both. - Strong executive presence and the ability to engage credibly with C-level leaders. - A structured thinker who thrives in ambiguity and can build clarity where none exists. - Intellectual curiosity about AI, organizational change, and how new categories are built. What You'll Get Ownership & Rapid Growth - Outsized responsibility from day one, with direct ownership of company-defining projects. - Work alongside the executive team with full transparency into strategy and decision-making. - Shape direction through real-time customer feedback and market insight. AI-First Operator - Work directly with cutting-edge AI models and next-generation platforms. - Build deep expertise in enterprise AI implementation across Fortune 500 companies and industries. - Establish yourself as a recognized leader among peers in shaping how AI transforms work at global scale. Compensation - Competitive salary including base + bonuses. - Comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, vision) from day one. - Generous PTO, company-wide R&R shutdowns, and paid parental leave. - Retirement plan support for US and global employees. Equity - Meaningful ownership in a venture-backed company at a growth inflection point. - Financial upside that comes from scaling fast. - Top-up grants as we scale and you deliver exceptional performance — your compensation grows alongside your impact. Top-Performing Culture - A culture built for top talent: intensity to win, growth without limits, and a team that solves hard problems and celebrates big wins together.
