This Privacy Policy explains how Eduhook Private Limited (“Eduhook”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information from users of Shinobi Jobs at www.shinobijobs.com and related products (the “Site” / “Service”).

Personal identification information

We may collect personal information when you register, upload a resume, connect Google / Apple / Gmail, purchase a plan, use Autopilot or the extension, apply via employer pages, or contact support. This may include name, email, phone, location preferences, resume and profile content, application history, payment identifiers (processed by Razorpay/Stripe), and messages you send through support channels.

You may browse public pages anonymously. Refusing certain information may prevent use of account features.

Non-personal identification information

We may collect browser type, device information, approximate region, referral/UTM parameters, and usage analytics to operate and improve the Service.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and local storage for sessions, preferences, attribution (e.g. referral / UTM), and security. You can block cookies in your browser; some features may stop working.

How we use information

• Provide the Service — parse resumes, tailor applications, track jobs, run AI features, and operate employer hiring flows.
• Customer support — respond to help requests (including Telegram or in-app support bridges when enabled).
• Payments — process orders and prevent fraud via payment partners.
• Improve the product — aggregated analytics, quality, and reliability.
• Communications — transactional emails about your account, billing, and product updates. Marketing emails (if any) include an unsubscribe option.

AI processing

Resume text, job descriptions, emails you authorize, and related content may be sent to AI providers we contract with to generate tailored resumes, scores, drafts, and roadmaps. Do not upload data you are not allowed to process.

Access, rectification, and deletion

Active users may access and update profile information in the app. To request access, correction, or deletion of personal data, email support@shinobijobs.com. We may retain data needed for legal obligations, dispute resolution, or security. Inactive account data may be retained for up to 24 months from last activity before deletion or anonymization, unless law requires longer retention.

Other rights

Where applicable (including under GDPR for relevant users), you may have rights to restrict or object to processing and to data portability. We will cooperate as required by law.

How we protect information

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures (encrypted transport, access controls, secrets management) to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal identification information. We may share data with:

• Infrastructure and AI vendors that process data on our instructions.
• Payment processors (Razorpay, Stripe) for billing.
• Google / Apple for authentication and optional Gmail features you connect.
• Employers when you apply to jobs they post on Shinobi Jobs.
• Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.

Third-party websites

Job boards and external links have their own policies. We are not responsible for their practices.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16 (or higher age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes

We may update this Policy by posting a new version on the Site. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
