Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Shinobi Jobs (the “Service”), a product brand of Eduhook Private Limited (“Eduhook”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), including the website at www.shinobijobs.com, related APIs, Chrome extension, and billing features. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Company and brand

Shinobi Jobs is a brand operated by Eduhook Private Limited, E-13, 6th Floor, Everest Building, Tardeo Road, Mumbai 400034, Maharashtra, India. Contracts, invoices, and legal notices are between you and Eduhook Private Limited.

2. The Service

Shinobi Jobs provides AI-assisted job-application tools, including resume parsing and tailoring, application tracking, job discovery, interview prep, Mail Copilot, Autopilot, employer hiring tools, and related features described on the Site. Features may change, improve, or be discontinued as we evolve the product.

3. Accounts and eligibility

• You must provide accurate registration information and keep it updated.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for safeguarding credentials and extension tokens.
• You must be legally able to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
• Employer accounts and seeker accounts have separate flows; misuse of either side is prohibited.

4. Subscriptions, credits, and payments

• Paid plans and credit packs are billed via payment gateways such as Razorpay (INR) and Stripe (USD), as offered at checkout.
• Credit allowances, plan quotas, and prices are as published on the billing page at the time of purchase.
• Transaction fees charged by card networks or payment partners may be borne by the payer and are generally non-refundable for chargebacks or reversals, except as required by law or our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Fabricate credentials, experience, or identity documents in materials you submit to employers.
• Abuse Autopilot, scrapers, or the extension in ways that violate third-party site terms or applicable law.
• Attempt unauthorized access to the Service, other users’ data, or our systems.
• Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without our written consent.
• Use the Service to spam employers or candidates, or to harass any person.

6. AI outputs and no guarantee of employment

AI-generated resumes, scores, roadmaps, drafts, and recommendations are assistive only. You remain responsible for reviewing all content before submitting applications or sending emails. We do not guarantee interviews, offers, hiring outcomes, or accuracy of third-party job listings.

7. Intellectual property

The Service software, branding, design, prompts, and documentation remain the intellectual property of Eduhook Private Limited. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service during your subscription. We do not transfer source code, internal architecture documentation, or database scripts. Your resumes, profile content, and job materials remain yours; you grant us a license to process them solely to operate the Service.

8. Third-party services

The Service may integrate Google, Apple, Gmail, Razorpay, Stripe, third-party AI providers, job boards, and hosting partners. Their terms and privacy policies apply to their portions of the experience. Hosting, advertising, SEO, hardware, and other third-party costs are outside our fees unless expressly included.

9. Customization and support

The Service is offered as a hosted product. Custom development, one-off report formats, or bespoke integrations may be chargeable and are subject to separate written approval. Support is provided remotely (email / in-app help) during standard business hours (Mon–Sat 10:00–19:00 IST, excluding holidays), unless otherwise stated. We may suspend support for abusive or undignified conduct toward our team.

10. Data and backups

We use reasonable operational practices to protect data, but we disclaim liability for data loss or corruption to the fullest extent permitted by law. You should export or keep copies of important resumes and application records.

11. Payment defaults and suspension

If payment fails or is reversed, we may suspend or limit access to paid features. We are not responsible for data loss if an account is truncated after prolonged non-payment.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EDUHOOK PRIVATE LIMITED DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on the Site. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

14. Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, subject to mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived.
