Collection Specialist (Remote) We are looking for a Collection Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for contacting customers regarding outstanding balances, assisting with payment arrangements, and maintaining accurate records of collection activities. Responsibilities * Contact customers by phone, email, or other communication channels regarding outstanding payments. * Follow up on overdue accounts and assist customers with payment arrangements. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of collection activities. * Handle customer questions and concerns professionally. * Negotiate payment plans when appropriate and within company guidelines. * Monitor assigned accounts and follow up on promised payments. * Escalate difficult or unresolved accounts to the appropriate team. * Maintain confidentiality of customer and account information. * Meet assigned collection and performance goals. Requirements * Previous experience in collections, customer service, call center, or a related role is preferred. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Good negotiation and problem-solving skills. * Professional and confident phone manner. * Ability to handle difficult conversations calmly and professionally. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * Comfortable working with computers and basic office software. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
