The Cook will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and handling food. An excellent cook must be able to follow instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals. S/he must be deft in moving around the kitchen and apt in multi-tasking. Experience in using various ingredients and cooking techniques is also important. The candidate must be willing to migrate and work in Canada. Summary of Responsibilities - Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities  - Inspect kitchens and food service areas;  - Clean kitchen and work areas;  - Able to cook, prepare or assemble required ingredients for preparing standard receipts. These may include a portion of beef, pork, fish, and poultry. - Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment;  - Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods  - Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs  - Recruit and hire staff  - May prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions  - Estimate food requirements and may estimate food and labor costs  - Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards  - Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs  - May prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions.
