JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Graphic Designer & Marketing Support Rate of Pay: $25–$35/hour depending on skills/experience Location: Chilliwack, BC Hours: Part-time, approximately 20–30 hours per week. Flexible schedule to accommodate school drop-off and pickup. Job Purpose Support Southern Irrigation’s marketing by creating professional graphic materials and assisting with day-to-day marketing activities. Key Result Areas - Consistent Southern branding - Quality print and digital design - Timely marketing support - Organized marketing materials - Effective promotional content Job Duties and Responsibilities Graphic Design - Create graphics for print, web, email and social media. - Design signage, advertisements, presentations and promotional materials. - Update existing designs as required. - Maintain consistent Southern branding. - Prepare files for print and production. Marketing Support - Assist with social media content and scheduling. - Support email marketing and promotions. - Prepare materials for events and trade shows. - Organize photos, templates and marketing files. - Coordinate with printers and marketing suppliers. - Help keep marketing projects organized and on schedule. - Assist with other marketing activities as required. Competencies - Graphic design experience with a portfolio of work. - Proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. - Strong eye for layout, colour and presentation. - Organized and able to manage multiple projects. - Good written and verbal communication. - Able to work independently and as part of a team. - Creative and willing to bring forward new ideas. - Experience with social media, HubSpot, video or website updates is an asset.
