We're currently seeking passionate individuals who are excited about the opportunity to contribute to an industry-shaping company while growing their own skills and careers. The Role Most sales roles chase new logos. This one unlocks the revenue already inside Telnyx's customer base — and there's a lot of it. As a Growth Account Executive (Expansion), you'll take commercial ownership of established Telnyx customers after their first 12 months, identifying and closing new revenue opportunities across our product portfolio, from Voice AI and programmable communications to messaging, connectivity, and AI infrastructure. You'll own an assigned portfolio of existing customers, identify untapped opportunities, build relationships with new stakeholders, and drive expansion from prospecting through close. This isn't traditional account management. You're not here to simply maintain relationships or renew contracts. You're here to grow accounts by introducing new products, expanding into new business units and geographies, and helping customers build more with Telnyx. You're not farming. You're hunting inside the base. What You'll Do - Own and grow your accounts. Take commercial ownership of an assigned portfolio of established customers, developing strategies to drive incremental recurring revenue. - Find untapped opportunities. Analyze customer usage, product adoption, business models, and growth plans to identify opportunities for cross-selling, upselling, and geographic expansion. - Hunt within existing accounts. Run targeted, personalized outbound campaigns to engage new stakeholders, departments, and decision-makers within your customer portfolio. - Own the expansion sales cycle. Lead discovery, qualify opportunities, develop commercial proposals, negotiate terms, and close expansion deals. - Sell across the Telnyx product portfolio. Identify opportunities spanning Voice AI, SIP trunking, programmable voice, messaging, WhatsApp Business, global numbers, wireless, and AI infrastructure. - Build strategic relationships. Develop connections with technical buyers, business leaders, and economic decision-makers to uncover new use cases and accelerate adoption. - Drive measurable revenue growth. Own an incremental MRR target, focusing on commercially attributable, profitable expansion rather than organic usage growth alone. - Collaborate across teams. Work closely with Hunter AEs during account transitions and partner with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Product teams to execute expansion strategies. - Own your forecast. Maintain accurate opportunities, account plans, and forecasts in Salesforce, ensuring clear visibility into pipeline health and commercial progress. - Bring customer intelligence back to Telnyx. Share market insights, product feedback, and emerging customer requirements to help shape our roadmap and go-to-market strategy. What You Bring - Experience in B2B technology sales, ideally as an Account Executive, Growth AE, or in a commercially focused business development role. - A demonstrated ability to generate pipeline through proactive outbound prospecting rather than relying exclusively on inbound demand. - A hunter mentality and the commercial curiosity to identify opportunities that aren't immediately obvious. - Strong discovery and consultative selling skills, with the ability to connect technical capabilities to measurable business outcomes. - Experience navigating multiple stakeholders and building relationships with both technical and commercial decision-makers. - The ability to independently manage opportunities, develop business cases, and move deals through a structured sales process. - Strong account research and strategic thinking skills, including identifying whitespace and opportunities for cross-selling. - Comfort discussing technical products with developers, engineering teams, operations leaders, and executives. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Experience managing pipeline and forecasts. - A proactive, accountable mindset with a genuine desire to own and deliver revenue results. Bonus Points - Experience in CPaaS, UCaaS, telecom, cloud infrastructure, AI, or developer-focused technology platforms. - Familiarity with Voice AI, SIP trunking, programmable communications, WhatsApp Business API, or messaging infrastructure. - Previous success in an expansion, cross-sell, upsell, or account-growth role. - Experience selling multiple products or solutions into the same organization. - Familiarity with MEDDPICC or another structured qualification methodology. - Experience working with international or multinational customers across Europe. Why This Role Matters Telnyx customers are already building on our infrastructure, but many are only using a fraction of what our platform can offer. A customer using us for SIP trunking might be a strong fit for Voice AI. A business operating in one country might be ready to expand across Europe. These opportunities don't always arrive as inbound requests. Someone needs to uncover them, build the business case, and turn them into revenue. That's where you come in. You'll work on a warm base with real relationships, real usage data, and real expansion potential. The upside is there. You just have to go and find it. You'll be measured on the incremental revenue you create, not simply the accounts you inherit. Why Telnyx - Real technology, built in-house. We own our global network and build our communications and AI infrastructure, giving you a differentiated platform to sell. - A broad portfolio with real cross-sell potential. From global connectivity and programmable communications to Voice AI and AI infrastructure, there's always another customer challenge we can solve. - Profitable and independent. Join a company focused on sustainable growth and long-term investment in its technology. #LI-RH1
