AI-Native Marketing & Execution - Be AI-native in how you work, using AI as an everyday part of research, analysis, execution, experimentation, and decision-making – not simply as a writing assistant. - Use AI to analyze marketing and performance data, uncover trends and anomalies, synthesize insights, identify growth opportunities, and accelerate reporting. - Use AI to accelerate campaign development and experimentation, including audience research, messaging variations, landing-page testing, creative ideation, and performance analysis. - Build AI into repeatable workflows to automate manual work, connect information across tools, and increase the speed and quality of marketing execution. - Be comfortable working with leading AI platforms and AI-enabled productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Cowork, and similar tools, while continuously evaluating new technologies as the ecosystem evolves. - Know how to work effectively with AI-generated analysis: asking the right questions, providing the right context and data, validating outputs, and applying human judgment before acting on recommendations. - Proactively identify opportunities where AI can make our marketing organization faster, smarter, more analytical, and more scalable. Growth Experimentation - Maintain a prioritized growth experimentation roadmap. - Move quickly from hypothesis to execution - Scale what works and stop what doesn't. - Proactively bring new ideas, channels, technologies, and opportunities to the team rather than waiting for them to be assigned. Performance Analytics & Attribution - Connect marketing activities to measurable business outcomes. - Understand performance across visitor → lead → qualified lead → opportunity → pipeline. - Establish KPIs for campaigns and acquisition programs. - Monitor acquisition costs, funnel conversion, opportunity creation, pipeline contribution, and campaign ROI. - Turn performance data into recommendations and actions, not simply dashboards. - Help leadership understand what's working, what's not, why, and what Marketing should do next. Partnership With the Director of Marketing This is designed to be a close counterpart relationship between two distinct areas of marketing expertise. The Director of Marketing owns the market-facing strategy : overall marketing strategy, integrated campaigns, narrative, brand, content, messaging, creative direction, organic strategy, customer storytelling, thought leadership, and market POV. The Growth Marketing Lead owns the performance engine : acquisition, distribution, activation, conversion, retargeting, nurture, experimentation, optimization, and measurement. You'll be involved early in campaign planning, not handed finished assets and asked to promote them. Your audience, channel, conversion, and performance insights should influence how campaigns are built from the beginning. At the same time, the role maintains clear functional ownership. The Growth Marketing Lead does not replace ownership of overall marketing strategy, brand strategy, editorial strategy, company narrative, creative direction, or integrated marketing strategy. Both roles remain deeply connected to GTM, pipeline, revenue, and business outcomes. Together, they create the feedback loop between what the market needs to hear and what performance data tells us is resonating. Fractional Marketing Operations Partnership The Growth Marketing Lead will work closely with a fractional/retained Marketing Operations resource who can support the technical infrastructure required to run and measure the growth engine. This may include CRM and marketing automation infrastructure, campaign tracking and attribution, lead scoring and routing, lifecycle automation, integrations, database health, dashboards, and reporting infrastructure. You don't need to personally administer every system. You do need enough technical fluency to know what needs to be built, articulate the business requirements, recognize when something isn't working correctly, and use the resulting data to make informed decisions. You will effectively serve as the business owner of marketing performance , with specialized Marketing Operations support helping i   What Success Looks Like: Success will be measured through outcomes including: - Marketing-sourced pipeline - Qualified opportunities generated - Inbound conversion rates - Cost per qualified lead and opportunity - Lead-to-opportunity conversion - Paid acquisition efficiency - Landing-page and website conversion - Funnel velocity - Growth experiment performance - Improved visibility and confidence in marketing performance across the portfolio Experience We're Looking For: - 3–5+ years of B2B growth, demand generation, performance marketing, or related experience, ideally within cybersecurity, SaaS, or technology. - Demonstrated experience owning multi-channel inbound acquisition programs. - Hands-on understanding of Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, retargeting, paid social, and performance marketing. - Strong understanding of SEO and organic acquisition, with experience connecting organic traffic to conversion and pipeline. - Experience with landing-page optimization, CRO, A/B testing, and structured experimentation. - Experience building retargeting, nurture, and lifecycle programs. - Strong understanding of B2B marketing funnels and progression from visitor through lead, opportunity, pipeline, and revenue. - Experience working with CRM, marketing automation, attribution, analytics, and reporting systems. - Demonstrated proficiency using AI in modern marketing workflows, including research, data analysis, reporting, campaign optimization, experimentation, automation, and productivity. You should be comfortable working across leading AI platforms and quickly learning new tools as they emerge. - Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into clear recommendations and actions. - Experience managing agencies, freelancers, vendors, and specialized external resources. - Experience collaborating closely with senior marketing leadership, Content/Creative, Sales, Product, and external Marketing Operations resources. - Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. - Cybersecurity experience is valuable, but strong B2B SaaS experience combined with the ability and desire to learn a technical market quickly can also be successful. How We Work: You have a startup mindset. You're a self-starter who doesn't need someone telling you what to do throughout the day. You can take a business objective, figure out what needs to happen, ask the right questions, and independently move the work forward. You're resourceful, curious, and a fast learner. We trust your expertise. There is real ownership in this role. We hire great people because we want their ideas, judgment, and experience – not because we want someone to simply execute instructions. If you think there's a better approach, we genuinely want to hear it. If the data is telling you we should change direction, say so. You'll be trusted to make decisions within your area, experiment thoughtfully, and do your job in the way you believe will produce the strongest results. You're collaborative and dynamic. You'll work closely with the Director of Marketing, broader marketing leadership, Sales, Product, external partners, and specialists across the organization. You know how to bring strong opinions and expertise to the table without creating territorial silos. You communicate well, welcome feedback, and value other people's expertise as much as your own. You move fast. We'd rather thoughtfully test a strong idea, learn from it, and iterate than spend months trying to make something theoretically perfect. You know how to prioritize, execute, measure, and move forward. If something doesn't work, understand why, learn from it, and try again. You take ownership. If something you're responsible for isn't working, you investigate it. If tracking looks wrong, you flag it. If an agency isn't delivering, you address it. If you see an opportunity, you bring it forward. "Nobody told me to" isn't how we operate. You're a team player. We care about the work we do and the people we do it with. You take pride in producing great work, celebrate team wins, help when someone needs it, and genuinely enjoy collaborating with smart people toward a shared goal. You're adaptable. Our products evolve. Technology advances. Messaging changes. Priorities change. AI is changing how people discover and consume information, and cybersecurity certainly doesn't stand still. You're comfortable operating in a fast-moving technical market and can learn quickly enough to keep pace. You're AI-native. AI is changing both the cybersecurity market we operate in and the way great marketing teams work. We expect you to use it. Whether you're analyzing campaign data, researching an audience, building a workflow, pressure-testing an idea, finding patterns, or eliminating repetitive work, your instinct should be to ask how AI can help you do the job better and faster. We're not looking for someone who occasionally opens an AI tool, we want someone who actively experiments with new capabilities and incorporates the best ones into how they work. You're comfortable with cybersecurity. You don't need to know every acronym on day one, but you should enjoy learning complex technology and understanding the problems our customers are trying to solve. You can become conversant enough in cybersecurity to make intelligent decisions about audiences, campaigns, messaging, and performance. You care about outcomes more than activity. Launching a campaign isn't the finish line. A beautiful dashboard isn't the outcome. More leads aren't necessarily better leads. You want to understand what actually moved the business and what we should do differently because of it. And we genuinely enjoy working together! Across Spin.AI, Revyz, and DoControl, we want people to be pro
