DEPT® is a Growth Invention company built to help the world’s most ambitious brands grow faster. Operating at the intersection of technology and marketing, our 4,000+ specialists deliver growth invention services across Brand & Media, Experience, Commerce, CRM, and Technology & Data. We’re 50|50 tech and marketing, partner-led, and first to move. Clients include Google, Lufthansa, Meta, eBay, and OpenAI. We have been certified B Corp and Climate Neutral since 2021. JOB PURPOSE We’re looking for a senior commercial leader to help accelerate the growth of our Media business in Denmark. As Head of Growth, Media, you will be responsible for building a strong and sustainable commercial pipeline for our Media proposition, converting new business opportunities into long-term client relationships, and identifying opportunities to expand our work with existing clients. But this role is about more than hitting a sales target. You will be one of the key faces of DEPT® in the Danish market: someone who knows the industry, has a strong point of view on where digital media is heading, and enjoys building relationships with ambitious brands and industry leaders. Together with our Head of Clients and Head of Growth, Experience, you will form the commercial leadership team for Denmark, working across disciplines to grow DEPT® as one integrated agency rather than a collection of individual capabilities. You will lead the Media Growth team in Denmark and report to the VP Growth, Benelux & Nordics. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Own and grow the new business pipeline for DEPT®’s Media business in Denmark; - Identify, develop and convert opportunities with ambitious Danish based brands; - Lead major Media pitches from first conversation through to conversion; - Build senior relationships with prospective clients and become a trusted advisor; - Identify growth opportunities within our existing client portfolio and turn them into actionable account growth plans; - Look beyond Media alone, connecting client challenges to DEPT® capabilities across Creative, Experience, Commerce, CRM, Data & AI and Technology; - Work closely with the Head of Clients and Head of Growth, Experience to drive one commercial agenda for Denmark; - Lead, coach and develop the Danish Media Growth team; - Build strong relationships with our media partners, platforms and the wider Danish marketing ecosystem; - Represent DEPT® externally at industry events, client sessions, roundtables and other relevant forums; - Bring market intelligence back into the organisation and help sharpen our proposition based on what clients need next; - Roll up your sleeves when needed. This is a senior leadership role, but definitely not one where you only manage from the sidelines. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR We’re looking for someone who combines a strong commercial track record with credibility in the Danish media market. Someone who knows how to open doors, but more importantly knows what to do once they are open. - Have significant experience in new business, growth or commercial leadership within a digital media or integrated agency environment; - Have a strong network within the Copenhagen media, marketing and advertising ecosystem; - Have a proven track record of building pipelines and converting significant pitches into long-term client relationships; - Understand modern digital media deeply and can have credible conversations with senior marketing leaders about how media can drive business growth; - Think about client growth first and internal organisational structures second. You naturally connect Media with Creative, Experience, CRM, Commerce, Data & AI and Technology when that creates a better answer; - Are an approachable and collaborative leader who brings people together, both internally and externally; - Have an entrepreneurial and pragmatic mindset: you see opportunities, create momentum and like getting things done; - Are comfortable being one of the public faces of DEPT® in Denmark and genuinely enjoy being in front of clients, teams and audiences; - Can operate at C-level while remaining close enough to the work to help teams turn opportunities into compelling propositions; - Are comfortable working across countries, disciplines and teams in an international organisation; - Have experience selling Creative and/or Experience services alongside Media — a significant plus; - Have clear ideas about how agencies can help clients grow and the energy to turn those ideas into action. WHO WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE - You’re commercially ambitious without being transactional. You build relationships because you’re genuinely interested in clients and their businesses. You enjoy connecting people and ideas, you have a strong external network, and you naturally create energy around opportunities. - You don’t wait for the perfect brief or organisational structure. You see what needs to happen, bring the right people together and make it happen. - And above all, you believe the strongest growth opportunities are rarely confined to a single discipline. WE OFFER - A healthy, varied and delicious lunch. - Pension & healthcare scheme. - A lot of fun social events such as Friday bars, company parties, team events, etc. - A flexible, hybrid working policy and a great workplace in our awesome offices. - A reputation for doing good. DEPT® has been a Certified B Corp® since 2021 and named ‘Agency of the Year’ at both The Lovies and The Webby Awards. - Awesome clients. Whether big or small, local or global — at DEPT® you’ll get the opportunity to work with clients of all sizes and across all industries. And we celebrate all of our successes together! - The opportunity for possibility. We want to enable you to do what you do best and help you develop your skills further with training and development. - Global annual DEPT® Cares Month in which employees come together and donate their skills to support local charities. WHO ARE WE? We are pioneers at heart. What does that mean? We are always looking forward, thinking of what we can create tomorrow that does not exist today. We were born digital and we are a new model of agency, with a deep skillset in tech and marketing. That’s why we hire curious, self-driven, talented people who never stop innovating. Our culture is big enough to cope and small enough to care. Meaning, that with people across 30+ countries, we’re big enough to provide you with the best tools, global opportunities, and benefits that help you thrive. While acting small by investing in you, your growth, your team, and giving you the autonomy to solve our clients problems, no matter where you are in the world. DIVERSITY, EQUITY & INCLUSION At DEPT®, we take pride in creating an inclusive workplace where everyone has an equal opportunity to thrive. We actively seek to recruit, develop, nurture, and retain talented individuals from diverse backgrounds, with varying skills and perspectives. Not sure you meet all qualifications? Apply, and let us decide! Research shows that women and members of underrepresented groups tend not to apply for jobs when they think they may not meet every requirement, when in fact they do. We believe in giving everyone a fair chance to shine. We also encourage you to reach out to us and discuss any reasonable adjustments we can make to support you throughout the recruitment process and your time with us.
