Our Patient Services Department is responsible for the collection of blood samples and handling contained specimens, i.e., human blood, faeces, urine, tissue etc from patients within the community and the hospital. These samples are then processed and tested in our state-of-the-art medical laboratory. About the role | M ō te t ū ranga: We are currently seeking two experienced Phlebotomists to join our team in two part-time roles within a supportive clinical environment, we also have casual roles available. Each part-time position is 20 hours per week and involves providing high-quality specimen collection services while always ensuring patient comfort safety and professionalism. We are looking for reliable, detail-oriented individual with strong phlebotomy experience and excellent interpersonal skills, who are confident working both independently and as part of a healthcare team. Responsibilities include: - Blood collection, responsible for handling contained specimens, i.e., human blood, faeces, and tissue, and preparing specimens for transportation. - Provide professional customer service, and serve as a link between health professionals, their patients, and the laboratory.
