We're known for creating iconic transformations that change how people perceive and interact with the world's most recognized brands. As a Design Intern, you'll join our Creative team for 6 months to learn how strategic thinking becomes visual impact. You'll work on real client projects, contribute ideas at every stage, and develop your craft under the mentorship of experienced designers. You'll also immerse yourself in Interbrand's approach to brand, learning how we use creativity to create iconic moves through our proprietary frameworks. What you’ll be doing - Learn Interbrand's IP, service offerings, and methodology to understand how we approach brand transformation through our Three Lenses framework - Learn and master design tools including Adobe CC, Figma, and emerging software relevant to the project - Support cross-functional teams in translating insights into visual concepts, brand identities, and real experiences. Specific tasks include e.g. - Contribute creative ideas and visual thinking to projects at all stages, from research and concepting through final execution - Sketch, prototype, and visualize ideas to experiment with different directions and refine based on feedback - Participate in design research, problem-solving, and presentation support for internal teams and clients What we’re looking for As this internship is located in Germany within an international working context, we are looking for fluency in German and English. Experience You are in your final year of university or freshly graduated. Your creative portfolio demonstrates creative thinking, attention to detail, and range of work. You are proficient in core design programs and enthusiastic to play with new design tools and software. You are aware of and curious about current design trends and digital tools. Relationships You can build rapport to learn from experienced designers and peers. You are comfortable speaking up with ideas and perspectives and not afraid to ask questions. You work well in team environments and actively seek opportunities to contribute and support others. Curiosity You are a passionate follower of cultural and creative trends locally and globally. You bring a mentality of asking questions to learn how creativity connects to strategy and business outcomes. You believe in sharing references and trends to foster dialogue. Commerciality You can understand the importance of deadlines and client briefs in a client service environment. You take ownership of tasks and follows through, showing initiative and reliability. You recognize that design decisions serve a strategic purpose, not just aesthetic preference. Communication You can clearly articulate ideas with strong visual support.
