About RemotePass RemotePass is a global employment, payroll, and spend platform that helps companies hire, pay, and support talent in 150+ countries. Recognised as one of G2's Top 100 Fastest Growing Software Products, we're on a mission to break down geographical barriers and create a world where exceptional talent can thrive anywhere. From hiring and onboarding to payroll, compliance, and financial services, we give organisations everything they need to build high-performing global teams, and give workers worldwide access to opportunities that were once out of reach. We're backed by world-class investors including EBRD Venture Capital, 500 Global, Endeavor Catalyst, BECO Capital, Wamda Capital, 212 VC, Oraseya Capital, Khwarizmi Ventures, and Access Bridge Ventures. The Role We're hiring a Product Manager, AI to own how AI shows up across RemotePass, from early experiments to production features used by customers running global payroll, compliance, and payments. You'll sit in the Product & Operations team and work directly with the CEO, engineers, and operators. This isn't a typical PM role. The challenge isn't adding AI. It's making AI useful in messy, high-stakes workflows where a wrong answer can mean a missed payroll or a compliance breach. A lot of this isn't defined yet. That's the point, and the scope is real from day one. What You'll Do - Set AI product direction. Define where AI goes at RemotePass: not just individual features, but how AI fits into the core platform. - Decide what to automate. Work out where AI genuinely removes friction, where humans should stay in control, and where AI shouldn't exist at all. - Make complex data usable. Shape how customers interact with payroll, compliance, and payments data through AI. - Turn real problems into product. Go deep on user problems across payroll, compliance, and operations. Connect what AI can do to real customer use cases, and turn ambiguity into clear product decisions. - Own the trade-offs. Make the calls between speed, accuracy, and trust in AI-driven workflows. - Ship, test, and scale. Work closely with engineering to ship and iterate quickly, taking features from early stage to usable to scalable. - 5+ years in product management, with a track record of shipping products in ambiguous, fast-moving environments. - Experience building AI- or data-heavy products. You don't need to be an ML expert, but you understand how models behave, where they fail, and what it takes to get them into production. - Comfortable working hands-on with engineers: writing specs, running experiments, and iterating on feedback. - Able to operate at both levels: setting strategy and getting into the detail. - Fluent written and spoken English. Nice to Have - Experience in fintech, HR tech, or other complex operational domains. - Hands-on exposure to LLMs, automation, or AI tooling in production. You'll Thrive in This Role If - You'd rather solve a real problem than ship a feature for its own sake. - You're comfortable with things being undefined, and you enjoy making them defined. - You know when not to use AI. - You want fast feedback, and you like seeing quickly whether what you've built works. Why RemotePass - Shape AI from the ground up. You're not inheriting a polished AI product. You'll help decide what it should be. - Work directly with the CEO on one of the company's core strategic bets. - Solve real, messy problems in global payroll, compliance, and payments, not hypothetical use cases. - Profitable, and still scaling fast. We reached profitability in 2025 and just raised a $17.4M Series B led by EBRD, with 500 Global joining. You get the pace of a scale-up with the stability of a business that works. - Real global scale. We support 35,000+ workers in 150+ countries and have processed over $800M in cross-border payroll for companies like Logitech, Tata Group, and Careem. - Big bets ahead. We're expanding across Europe and the US, building financial products for distributed teams, and investing heavily in AI. There's a lot to build, and room to grow with it. - Remote-first, for real. We don't just sell remote work, we live it. Work from anywhere. - Inclusion matters. We value different perspectives and empower everyone to bring their authentic self to work.
