Product Owner | Based in Barcelona If you are a product person who wants to own a market-leading product and grow with it, this is worth reading. Kantox is a BNP Paribas-backed fintech with a product that solves a real, measurable problem for CFOs and Treasurers. We are looking for someone to join our Dynamic Hedging team, take full ownership of one product variant, and support the growth of another. We build Currency Management Automation software that helps companies turn FX from an operational burden into a competitive advantage. Our clients are CFOs and Treasurers at mid-to-large corporates across 75 countries, and they trust us to move serious money: over $20 billion and counting. What you will work on - Running discovery: client calls, hypothesis validation, and market insight, to always understand the why before the what - Owning and nurturing a healthy, insight-driven backlog with clear prioritisation - Writing clear, well-structured PRDs and making well-informed product decisions - Being an active participant in scrum ceremonies and staying close to the development process - Defining and tracking OKRs for your product area, outcome over output - Documenting new features and training internal teams when shipping - Communicating product updates clearly across the company The setup You will be based in our Barcelona office, close to clients from day one: joining calls, gathering insights, and bringing the voice of the customer into everything you build. Internally, you will work closely with engineering, data, sales, and client success, among others. We will give you the context, the access, and the trust to make things happen. Who you are You have lived a proper PDLC, not just read about it. You come from a client-driven environment; you have a background in finance or treasury, and you understand how CFOs and Treasurers think. You move work forward quickly, keep it organized, and take responsibility for outcomes. You raise your hand before things escalate. Concretely: - 3 to 5 years of product experience - Background in treasury or corporate finance, with practical knowledge of FX derivatives; you speak the language of our clients - Proven track record of running discovery, writing PRDs, and delivering in a structured PDLC - Scrum-certified or equivalent hands-on agile experience - You manage your work independently, take responsibility for outcomes, and focus on results; you chase your manager, not the other way around - Strong written and verbal communication: clear, short, sharp - Embraces AI as part of how they work and learn every day, not a feature, a habit - Based in Barcelona, or willing to relocate - Experience in fintech or financial services is a plus - Degree in Engineering, Business, or Finance; CFA or similar is a plus What we offer - Competitive base salary - 31 days of annual leave - Private health insurance - Free language lessons (Spanish, English and French) - Flexible working hours and short Fridays - Sponsored learning and development budget - Hybrid working model (3 days in office, 2 days from home) - Barcelona office with 360° views of the city - Fresh fruit, unlimited coffee and Pizza Fridays About Kantox We are a 200-person fintech and a BNP Paribas company, with offices in London and Barcelona. We built a product that handles real financial complexity for clients who depend on it every day. If you want to own a product that handles real financial complexity for clients who depend on it every day, and build with a team that will push you to make it better, this is the role. Kantox is an equal opportunity employer. We hire on merit and welcome applicants regardless of background, nationality, gender, age, sexual orientation, or disability status.
