We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our Platform Solutions team at Readdle. This role offers a high level of ownership, from technical design to deployment and production monitoring. What you’ll do: - Design, build, and maintain reliable backend services and responsive web applications, ensuring high availability, low latency, and smooth integration with core systems. - Take ownership of the full software delivery lifecycle, from technical planning and API design to testing, deployment, and production monitoring. - Improve system reliability and maintainability by refactoring legacy code, reducing technical debt, and working closely with our Principal Architect on architectural improvements. - Establish clear technical documentation, coding standards, and best practices to improve knowledge sharing and reduce dependency on individual team members. - Design and maintain secure REST APIs and microservices, ensuring reliable communication between systems. - Support cross-functional teams with technical guidance and integrations for key product and internal initiatives. - Make pragmatic technical decisions based on product needs, balancing scalability, performance, and maintainability without unnecessary complexity. About you: - 5+ years of professional experience building and scaling web applications, with strong knowledge of Symfony and React.js. - Experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices, including API versioning and event-driven architectures. - Hands-on experience with Docker and an understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes. - Solid experience with relational and non-relational databases, including data modeling, schema design, query optimization, and caching strategies. - Experience writing unit and integration tests and maintaining high standards of code quality. - Ability to translate product requirements and customer feedback into practical, scalable technical solutions. - Strong ownership mindset, with the ability to manage tasks independently, solve problems proactively, and take responsibility for delivery from planning to production. - Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and cross-functional teams. Will be a plus: - Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). - Understanding of information security practices, authentication protocols such as OAuth2, JWT, and SAML, or data protection requirements such as GDPR. - Experience working on B2B or SaaS products, particularly management dashboards, subscription billing, entitlement management, or license server integrations. - Experience collaborating with Principal Architects or contributing to shared UI/UX design systems and platform libraries. Cool things about this role: - End-to-end ownership: Take responsibility for the entire development lifecycle, from technical decisions to production results. - Real architectural impact: Work closely with our Principal Architect to improve existing systems and shape technical solutions for the future. - Engineering excellence: Help establish standards, improve documentation, and make our systems more reliable and easier to maintain. - Cross-functional collaboration: Work on integrations and initiatives that support multiple teams and products.
