ABOUT LENDABLE Lendable is on a mission to build the world's best technology to help people get credit and save money. We're building one of the world’s leading fintech companies and are off to a strong start: - One of the UK’s most exciting unicorns with a team of over 800 people - Among the fastest-growing tech companies in the UK - Profitable since 2017 - Backed by top investors including Balderton Capital and Goldman Sachs - Loved by customers with the best reviews in the market (4.9 across 10,000s of reviews on Trustpilot https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/lendable.co.uk) So far, we’ve rebuilt the Big Three consumer finance products from scratch: loans, credit cards and car finance. We get money into our customers’ hands in minutes instead of days. We’re growing fast, and there’s a lot more to do: we’re going after the two biggest Western markets (UK and US) where trillions worth of financial products are held by big banks with dated systems and painful processes. JOIN US IF YOU WANT TO 1. Take ownership: you are trusted to make decisions that drive a material impact on the direction and success of Lendable from day 1 2. Work in small teams of exceptional people: Lendies are relentlessly resourceful. We challenge the status quo to solve problems and find smarter solutions 3. Build the best technology in-house: we use new data sources, machine learning and AI to make machines do the heavy lifting About the role Every email and notification we send is part of how customers experience Lendable, and a 5.0★ Trustpilot rating across more than 100,000 reviews sets a high bar for it: communication has to be clear, timely and honest. As our Senior Product Manager for CRM & Growth, you'll own the products and systems that shape how customers hear from us across their lifecycle, from first interaction through to retention and reactivation. Product here isn't backlog grooming. The trade-offs are commercial as much as they are user-facing: engagement, retention, conversion, cost to serve and customer experience all pull against each other, and you'll make the calls. There will always be more good ideas than capacity, so sharp prioritisation is central to the job. The role also has a real technical edge. Messaging reliability, deliverability and platform integrations are part of what you'll own, so you'll need to be comfortable going deep with engineers. Teams here are small relative to the size of the book we run, so you'll carry more scope and ownership than the same title would at a larger, more layered company. What you'll be doing - Owning the roadmap and outcomes for our CRM and lifecycle product: onboarding, engagement, retention and reactivation - Prioritising a pipeline of competing opportunities across CRM, growth, deliverability and platform work, weighing expected impact, effort and risk, and being clear about what we won't do - Taking products and channel improvements from problem definition through to launch and iteration, owning both the product and technical decisions alongside Engineering - Defining the metrics that matter and making the commercial trade-offs between growth, retention, cost and customer experience, and making sure performance is measurable end to end, from tracking and data flows through to dashboards the wider business can trust - Running an experimentation programme: writing clear hypotheses, designing A/B tests, and using SQL and our data to measure true incremental impact - Treating email deliverability and messaging reliability as product concerns, working with Engineering on infrastructure, platform integrations and cost efficiency - Shaping requirements with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Risk and Compliance so that what we ship is effective and meets the standards expected of a regulated lender - Holding a high bar for what customers receive: clear, honest content, well-tested design, and rigorous checks before and after launch. What we're looking for ESSENTIAL - 5+ years in product management, with substantial experience in CRM, lifecycle, messaging or growth for a consumer product at meaningful scale - Strong product management fundamentals: you've taken a product or channel from problem definition through launch and iteration, and owned both the product and the technical sides of delivery - Excellent prioritisation: a clear, defensible way of ranking competing opportunities by expected impact, effort and risk, the confidence to say no, and the ability to explain trade-offs to stakeholders - A track record of owning measurable outcomes in engagement, retention or revenue, not just shipping features - Strong SQL and analytical skills, and experience designing and interpreting A/B tests, with the habit of measuring impact rigorously rather than relying on vanity metrics - Enough technical depth to work credibly with engineers on messaging infrastructure, deliverability and platform integrations, and clear communication across technical and commercial audiences NICE TO HAVE - Experience in financial services or another regulated industry - Experience launching a new channel or capability end to end, such as push notifications across mobile and web - Experience building experimentation or measurement tooling, including getting CRM and messaging data into a BI environment for analysis - Experience mentoring other product managers or CRM specialists Interview process 1. A quick chat with someone from our Talent team to see if the role is a good match 2. A 15-minute cognitive assessment. 3. A practical exercise or case study interview with the Hiring Manager 4. A culture-add interview to assess how you'd thrive within our team and organisation 5. Final round in person at the office (3x30 min, same day): - VP Product & Design - Engineering team members - CPO interview LIFE AT LENDABLE - Winning team: the opportunity to scale up one of the world’s most successful fintech companies - Flexible working: flexible approach tailored to each role. Hybrid roles require three days in-office weekly; fully remote roles include regular opportunities for in-person connection through socials and off-sites - Socials & connection: opportunities and events to come together, socialise, and get to know each other beyond the office walls - Health coverage: support for your physical and mental wellbeing, including private health cover - Retirement & savings: long-term financial wellbeing through retirement savings plans - Employee referral programme: earn a competitive bonus when you refer successful new team members - Office meals & snacks: enjoy a fully stocked kitchen, plus complimentary lunches prepared by in-house chefs on in-office days at select locations - Sustainable commuting: cycle-to-work and electric vehicle salary sacrifice schemes available in select locations Please note: The availability and details of specific benefits vary by location and role.
