In this role, you will: - Be the go-to owner for the entire SSE pipeline ecosystem — from ClangTidy, ASAN/TSAN/Harden, and FBInfer — keeping every pipeline running smoothly across weekly, nightly, and CI so the rest of the org can trust the results. - Take pipelines from prototypes to fully deployed, CI-enforced systems across branches, shaping how "production-grade" looks for stability tooling at Zoox. - Turn raw issue data into dashboards and KPIs that tell a story — giving leadership and engineering teams a clear, real-time pulse on pipeline health and software quality trends. - Play detective when things break — root-causing gnarly cross-platform and determinism, building the instrumentation and tooling to crack them. - Help shape what's next for the pipeline suite — pitching in on new checker rollouts, testing strategy, and define how SSE scales its infrastructure Qualifications: - Advanced degree (MS or PhD)  in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics, aerospace, or related fields and 3+ years of experience working on large code bases - Experience developing in Bazel/Python, setting up backend infrastructure (databases, web servers, shell scripts, etc.), and interfacing with software written in C++ and Python. - Experienced in drafting system design diagrams and documentation for customer communication and long-term maintenance - Comfortable to whip up quick scripts to automate tasks, such as generating metrics, establishing traceability, etc, when necessary. - Deep experience in enterprise-scale deployment practices and issues Bonus Qualifications: - Experience working with PipeDream, Airflow and Looker - Proficiency in ReactJS, TypeScript and C++ (C++11, C++14, C++17) including memory management, threading, and common debugging pattern About Zoox Zoox is developing the first ground-up, fully autonomous vehicle fleet and the supporting ecosystem required to bring this technology to market.
