Conviva is the experience analytics platform for AI agents, apps, and streaming. Conviva pioneered quality of experience measurement for streaming video and has supported live digital experiences across 20 Super Bowls, 10 Olympic Games, and five FIFA World Cup tournaments. With full-census, real-time, stateful analytics, Conviva shows what consumers actually experience, not just whether systems are running, and connects that experience to revenue, retention, and risk. We are looking for a dynamic, growth-minded DevOps Engineer with over 8 years of experience to bridge the gap between our traditional on-premises infrastructure and our expanding multi cloud footprint (AWS, GCP, and OCI). Here is the honest truth: we don't expect you to be an absolute master of all three clouds and bare-metal setups on day one. We value your learning trajectory (your slope) over your current baseline knowledge (your intercept). If you have rock-solid systems fundamentals, a passion for automation, an unstoppable drive to figure things out, and a knack for deep-dive debugging, you will thrive here. What Success Will Look Like: - Hybrid & Multi-Cloud Orchestration: Assist in managing, scaling, and maintaining our on-premises infrastructure while expanding and supporting environments across AWS, GCP, and OCI. - Identity & Access Management (IAM): Design, implement, and audit secure authentication and authorization workflows (OIDC, SAML, Cloud IAM, Least Privilege policies) across hybrid environments. - CI/CD Pipeline Architecture: Build, maintain, and optimize robust CI/CD pipelines to ensure safe, repeatable, and rapid code deployments. - Observability & Debugging: Set up comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems. You will be the detective who tracks down root causes when complex, distributed systems misbehave. - SecOps Integration: Embed security best practices directly into the infrastructure lifecycle (vulnerability scanning, secrets management, compliance-as-code). Who You Are and What You've Done: Technical Baseline (The Intercept) - Experience: 8+ years in a DevOps, Site Reliability, or Systems Engineering role. - Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Solid hands-on experience with Terraform or OpenTofu. - Operating Systems: Strong Linux administration and networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, routing) for both cloud and physical hardware. - Cloud Platforms: Foundational or deep experience in at least one major cloud (AWS, GCP, or OCI), with a strong conceptual understanding of how to translate those skills to the others. - Containers: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (managed or bare-metal). - Tooling Preferences: Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch), CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins), and Secrets Management (HashiCorp Vault). Growth Mindset (The Slope) - Rapid Adaptation: The ability to pick up a completely new cloud provider or tool within weeks and apply it effectively. - First-Principles Thinking: When an application fails, you don't just restart it; you want to understand why it failed at the OS or network level. - Automation First: A strong aversion to manual, repetitive tasks; you automate yourself out of a job wherever possible. Why You'll Love Working Here - Uncapped Learning: You will gain rare, highly sought-after experience working across three major cloud providers and physical on-prem infrastructure simultaneously. - High Autonomy: We trust our engineers. You will have the freedom to research, propose, and implement modern tools and methodologies. - A Culture of Growth: We embrace mistakes as learning opportunities. We care about how fast you grow, not just what you knew yesterday. Learn more at conviva.ai and follow the company on LinkedIn and YouTube.
