What will your responsibilities be? - Team Leadership: Manage and allocate workloads while monitoring the performance of the social work team to meet service objectives. - Safeguarding: Maintain a clear and consistent focus on the safety and well-being of children and young people. - Supervision: Provide robust supervision and support to Supervising Social Workers, trainees, and support staff. - Growth & Recruitment: Participate in the advertisement, recruitment, and selection of new social work talent. - Flexibility: Manage a schedule that includes some evening and weekend work to meet the needs of our foster families. Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must possess: - Social Work England Registration (Active). - Degree level qualification or equivalent in Social Work. - 5+ Years Post-Qualifying Experience in statutory childcare work, including child protection. - Leadership Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management capacity.
