Seeking a "Builder-in-Residence" to launch special projects in Vienna. Are you the person who sees a problem in the morning and has an AI-powered MVP running by dinner? Felix, Gregor and Ivo are looking for a super hands-on, tech-savvy "Product Swiss Army Knife" to join us in our Vienna office. You don't need to be a Senior Dev, but you do need to be a master of the modern stack: AI agents, no-code/low-code, rapid prototyping, and scalable architecture. We are building a few stealth-mode special projects and need someone who can iterate at lightning speed, work directly with the founding team, and think like an entrepreneur. The vibe: High autonomy, zero bureaucracy, pure building. Your role: We are looking for a Technical Product Generalist to act as the "execution engine" for a series of special projects. You will sit directly with the Co-Founders and CTO to turn raw ideas into validated products. This is not a role for someone who wants to sit in meetings; it’s for someone who wants to build, break, and ship. What You’ll Do: - Rapid Prototyping: Take a concept from a whiteboard and build a functional MVP using a mix of AI tools, low-code platforms, or light coding. - AI Orchestration: Implement AI workflows using tools like OpenAI/Anthropic APIs, LangChain, or Cursor to automate processes and enhance product features. - Architectural Design: Help define how different tools and databases talk to each other so our "fast" builds don't crumble when they scale. - Iterate & Pivot: Use user feedback to change directions in hours. You should be comfortable "killing your darlings" if the data doesn't support the idea. - Bridge the Gap: Act as the glue between the Founders' vision and the CTO's technical roadmap. Who you are: - Your Tech "Toolbox" (Expected Proficiency). You should be a "power user" in most of these categories: - AI/LLMs: Cursor, Replit Agent, Claude Artifacts, Midjourney, v0.dev. - Automation/No-Code: Make.com, Zapier, Airtable, Bubble, or Webflow. - Modern Stack: Knowledge of how APIs, Supabase/Firebase, and Vercel work. - Product: Linear, Notion, Figma (enough to wireframe). - Your Personality: - Entrepreneurial: You’ve likely had a side hustle or tried to start a company before. You care about why we are building, not just what. - Tech-Fluent: You can hold your own in a conversation with our CTO about architecture, even if you aren't writing the production backend yourself. - Bias for Action: You prefer a "dirty" solution that works today over a "perfect" one that takes a month. - Vienna-Based: You want to be in the room where it happens. This is a high-bandwidth, in-person role Why is this better than a standard Dev role? - Founding Team Access: You work directly with the decision-makers every day. - Speed: No legacy code. No technical debt. Just building new things. - Variety: You won't be stuck on one feature for six months; you'll be launching multiple projects. Our Path to unlock your full potential: - Compensation: You can earn up to €50,000 gross base salary (full-time equivalent), complemented by an attractive team-based bonus of up to 10%, rewarding collective performance and success. - Flexible & Focused Work: Benefit from our hybrid work model with 2–3 flexible days per week and a Meeting-Free Friday for uninterrupted productivity. - Grow With Us: Advance your career through clear development paths and our Spark! Growth & Development program. Gain access to thousands of courses on LinkedIn Learning, our Spark! Mentorship Program, and monthly learning sessions. Enjoy 30 free learning units to experience GoStudent firsthand. - Work Smart, Play Hard: Our regular team and office events keep the energy high. We believe in bonding, celebrating together, and having lots of fun. - Strength Through Community: Get involved in one of GoStudent’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and champion the causes that matter most to you. How to apply: Don't only send a traditional CV. Send us a link to something you built recently (even if it's a "scrappy" AI tool) and tell us which tools you used to get it live. Our Commitment to full Openness: We value your unique skills and your passion. We do not hire based on age, gender, nationality, or political views — what matters to us is your talent and your motivation. Even if you’re a unicorn — just like GoStudent — if you believe you can make a positive impact, we encourage you to apply, even if you don’t meet every single requirement. Diversity makes us more creative, innovative, and stronger. Want to learn more? Visit our careers page and check out „Wer wir sind“.
