This opportunity is will best suit a reliable, hardworking, warehouse operative that is looking to advance their warehouse skills/knowledge and be recognised for their business contribution. What you will do: · Perform pick and pack activities · Loading and unloading trailers/containers · Using and maintaining WMS · Interact with drivers and customers, handle problems and report customer concerns immediately · Be an advocate for all company health and safety policies & accident processes · Contributes ideas on ways to reduce warehouse costs and increase productivity · Maintains a safe, clean working environment · Participates in quality improvement efforts · Performs other related duties as assigned by management Desired skills/experience: · Good written & oral communication skills · Counter balance/VNA certification (within 3 year ideally) however open to training · Familiarity of shipping practices and handling methods · Employee is frequently required to walk, or stand long periods and must be able to lift · Ability to type and operate a computer along with basic knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel, along with managing daily emails · Ability to manage priorities and workflow and meet daily deadlines · Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm · At least 1 year warehouse experience · Experience with AS400 system is a plus Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative looking for a new challenge?
