Join the Rest Revolution The world is wired and tired. It's plagued by screens, notifications, and the sense that you should always be doing ... something. But hey, you're reading this job application right now, so you probably know exactly what we're talking about. So here's a bit of good news amidst all the noise: Hatch is a sleep wellness company that's betting on rest in a culture obsessed with optimization. While most technology is designed to keep you engaged, our devices use the science of habit formation to help people unplug, unwind, and recharge. Through genuinely enjoyable routines, habit building, and gentle guidance (no sleep scores or wearables here), we help people build healthier sleep habits and feel the difference in everyday life. More than a decade ago, we started with a mission to help parents navigate the complexities of newborn sleep. Today, we're helping more than 5 million people (and counting) take care of themselves and the people they love through the power of rest. We’re open to candidates across the U.S. and Canada. However, please note that Hatch is based in California, so we just ask that you're available during PST/PDT hours. The Opportunity As a Sleep Consultant, you are the voice of Hatch’s sleep support. You will connect with caregivers through sleep chat in the Hatch Baby app, offering warm, personalized guidance that helps them understand their child’s sleep, choose realistic next steps, and feel supported along the way. You balance developmental accuracy with genuine care, and you are passionate about helping others and meeting every caregiver with empathy, especially during some of the most tiring moments of parenthood. We are hiring for multiple part-time positions, 20 hours per week on set shifts, M-F 7am-11am PT or M-F 11am-3pm PT. These are hourly, part-time roles. You care about caregivers and love helping a family feel confident and rested. - Empathetic. You build trust without judgment, even when a family is stressed or exhausted. - A strong writer. You communicate clearly, warmly, and concisely in writing. - Detail-oriented. You keep accurate documentation and notice the details that matter in each family’s story. - Experienced with sleep. You have experience with infant and child sleep development and safe-sleep practices. - Resourceful. You dig into the root of each family’s challenge and use every resource available. You know when to ask for help and you stay flexible and resilient through change. - A team player. You follow team policies and processes, and meet your deadlines.
