In the fight against breast cancer, every medical image is an opportunity: to unlock insight, to uncover risk, to embody health, to empower life. ScreenPoint’s Transpara Breast AI delivers unmatched precision for breast radiologists and helps define personalized care pathways for every woman we serve. Make your mark as part of The Breast AI Company. We're looking for a Software Engineer who thinks beyond their code: someone who takes ownership, challenges assumptions, and actively looks for better ways to build and scale systems. This role is ideal for an engineer with solid experience, but more importantly, someone who demonstrates a senior mindset: proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable working across teams to deliver complex features end-to-end. We do value engineers who naturally contribute beyond their own scope, whether by sharing knowledge, supporting technical discussions, improving team practices, or helping others make well-considered engineering decisions. We also value AI literacy and a curious, responsible approach to using modern AI tools to improve productivity, code quality, problem-solving, and collaboration. In this role, you'll join our platform and infrastructure team, where you will design, build, and maintain scalable, production-grade systems that span multiple services and domains. You'll take ownership of features throughout their entire lifecycle — from idea and design to implementation, deployment, and monitoring. Along the way, you'll help improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes, contribute to cloud-based infrastructure, and drive automation efforts to reduce manual work and increase reliability. You'll also play an important role in ensuring high standards for testing, code quality, and maintainability, while collaborating closely with product, data, and other engineering teams. Job requirements You are a self-motivated individual with a high level of enthusiasm and initiative. You are well organized, efficient and able to work independently. Moreover, you have: - ~3-6 years of software engineering experience - Proven experience working on complex systems or cross-team projects - Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes - Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) - Strong understanding of testing strategies and code quality practices - AI literacy and experience using AI tools to support software development, automation, testing, documentation, or engineering workflows Preferred qualifications: - Experience with system design and architecture at scale - Experience mentoring colleagues - Experience improving developer experience (DX), tooling, or workflows - Background in automation, observability, or platform engineering What matters most to us is mindset. We're looking for someone who is proactive and doesn't wait for problems to appear, but anticipates and solves them. You take ownership beyond your immediate tasks, focusing on solutions rather than obstacles. You're curious and creative, willing to challenge the status quo and think outside the box. You're comfortable collaborating across teams and domains, and you genuinely care about continuously improving systems, processes, and the way teams work together. This role goes beyond simply executing tickets. You'll be expected to influence how things are built, identify gaps and opportunities, and help shape both systems and processes in a meaningful way.
