In the fight against breast cancer, every medical image is an opportunity: to unlock insight, to uncover risk, to embody health, to empower life. ScreenPoint's Transpara Breast AI delivers unmatched precision for breast radiologists and helps define personalized care pathways for every woman we serve. Make your mark as part of The Breast AI Company. As we continue to grow at ScreenPoint Medical, we're looking for an experienced and clinically minded product leader to head our Product function as VP of Product. This is a defining leadership role connecting company strategy, clinical evidence, and R&D execution. Transpara leads the field in clinical evidence, including a randomized controlled trial in The Lancet and a landmark workload study in Nature Medicine, is used in over 30 countries, and analyzes millions of mammograms a year. Your mandate is to turn that leadership into execution: translate company strategy into a focused portfolio plan, deploy that plan across the company so every function knows what we are building and why, own the path from portfolio decision to market adoption, and build the product organization that sustains it. You'll report to the Chief Product & Technology Officer, lead our team of Product Managers and Product Owners, and sit on the R&D leadership team alongside the VP of Engineering. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional R&D teams (Software Engineers, AI Researchers, Data Scientists), as well as Clinical, Regulatory, Marketing, customers, KOLs, and strategic partners. Key Responsibilities - Own the portfolio plan: Turn company strategy, clinical evidence and market signals into a focused and sequenced portfolio plan, and own the recommendation that shapes the strategy. Own the business case behind each investment, and the trade-offs on what we choose not to do. - Deploy the strategy: Make sure engineering, AI, clinical, regulatory, sales, customer success and marketing understand what we are building, why, and what it means for them. Translate portfolio decisions into commitments each function can act on, and run the cross-functional and partner forums where those decisions get made, in a fast-growing matrix organization with dedicated multidisciplinary product teams. - Bring products to market: Own the whole path from portfolio decision through development, launch and market adoption, across clinical AI, cloud and platform. That includes the feedback loop back into the plan: what customers do with the product informs the next portfolio decision. You set portfolio priorities and can cut scope to protect dates and quality; clinical, regulatory, engineering and commercial leaders own their stages. - Build and lead the Product function: Hire, develop, and coach the Product Management team. Set the standard for product craft and give strong PMs real ownership of their products. Drive the partner and ecosystem agenda: Shape product collaboration with imaging vendors, platform partners, and distributors, making partnerships work commercially and technically. - Bring customer and market input into the plan: Work with Clinical, Marketing and Commercial to bring the voice of radiologists, screening programs, and health systems into portfolio and roadmap decisions. - Build with AI: Bring a point of view on how AI changes product management itself, and put it to work. Use AI to shorten the distance from customer signal to validated decision, in your own work and across the PM team. Job requirements You are a product leader who has built teams and shipped products that matter. You decide on incomplete information and stand behind the call: what to cut, when the evidence is sufficient, and which good ideas do not fit the plan. You bring: - 10+ years in software product management, including several years leading and scaling product teams in a complex multi-product environment, with experience creating, positioning and managing a product portfolio rather than single products. - Proven strength in program management: planning across interdependent teams, holding dependencies and dates, and driving execution to closure in a matrix organization. - Proven experience with software as a medical device (SaMD) and regulated development (e.g. IEC 62304, ISO 13485, EU MDR, FDA). - Proven experience in medical imaging or radiology, including direct work with clinicians on how a product is used in their workflow. - Able to synthesize clinical, regulatory and technical expert input into a clear decision, and own the call. - Experience with cloud-based or SaaS product delivery and products that integrate with clinical IT infrastructure. - Experience collaborating with large organizations and strategic partners (preferably OEMs) and navigating complex stakeholder environments. - Strong communication skills: able to bridge technical, clinical, regulatory, partner, and business perspectives, credible from engineering room to boardroom. - AI-native in how you work: you use AI tools in your own product work every week, you are curious about where the discipline is going, and you move with a natural sense of urgency. - Proven experience gathering market, customer and KOL input and turning it into product requirements that AI and engineering teams can build against. - Based in the Netherlands, or willing to relocate. Preferred qualifications - Advanced degree in a technical, clinical, or scientific field. - Knowledge of breast imaging or population screening programs. - Experience scaling a product organization in a growing health tech company. - Experience with products supported by clinical evidence (e.g. clinical studies, performance claims, PMS/PMCF inputs). - Experience with international market expansion, including the US and EU.
