The Role As a Team Lead Account Executives (all genders), you own the aggregate new business performance of a pod of Account Executives in the DACH market. You build the conditions in which every AE can succeed: clear targets, deep coaching, and a disciplined cadence. This is a pure people-leadership role: you don't carry an individual quota, and your impact is measured by your pod's collective results. You report into the New Business sales leadership team and act as the senior representative of your pod across Marketing, Business Development, Sales Engineering, Partner Sales, Customer Success, and RevOps, removing blockers and translating regional strategy into execution on the ground. Your team focuses on winning new customers across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, and you work remotely from Germany. The role rewards resilience, urgency, and curiosity in equal measure: you'll navigate ambiguity, back your team through tough deal cycles, and stay hands-on with the numbers without losing sight of the people behind them. We look for people who keep growing, take real ownership, and lift the people around them. What you'll do - Own and deliver your pod's aggregate new business targets across the DACH Account Executive team. - Lead your pod of Account Executives end-to-end, covering hiring, onboarding, reviews, development, and compensation. - Run weekly 1:1s with each direct report, coaching on deal progression, methodology, and skill development. - Own and submit an accurate weekly forecast, driving disciplined pipeline hygiene and risk identification across the pod. - Translate regional strategy into pod-level territory and account plans, reviewing and approving individual territory plans. - Champion MEDDICC and the Lucanet sales methodology, driving CRM hygiene and deal stage discipline across the team. - Partner with Marketing, Business Development, Sales Engineering, Partner Sales, Customer Success, and RevOps to unblock execution. - Build a high-performance, high-trust team culture through team rituals, recognition, and hands-on coaching. What you bring to the table You have: - A track record as a top-performing Senior Account Executive in B2B SaaS, software, or IT solution sales, owning full-cycle deals from prospecting to close. - Deep working knowledge of MEDDICC qualification, complex deal orchestration, and value-based negotiation. - Strong command of forecast methodology and pipeline coverage analysis, translating regional strategy into pod-level territory plans. - Demonstrated ability to coach and develop sales talent, including hiring, performance reviews, and difficult performance conversations. - Strong understanding of B2B software buying processes, ideally in finance, compliance, or tax domains. - Business-fluent German, enabling you to lead your team and negotiate with customers across the DACH market. It's a plus if you also have: - First-line sales management experience in a B2B SaaS environment, ideally scaling teams in PE-backed or high-growth companies. - Experience selling or leading teams in finance, tax, accounting, or compliance software. - Familiarity with CRM and sales enablement tools (e.g., Salesforce, Gong), and practical experience using AI to sharpen forecasting and sales insights. Perks at work - Flexible and hybrid working: our Lucaflex model lets you plan your working hours and location according to your needs and professional responsibilities. - Remote work from another country: work up to 90 days a year outside your home country, supported by our partner Workflex. - Professional development budget: get dedicated time, resources, and budget to build the skills for your career path. - Structured development process: quarterly catch-ups with your manager, built on clear expectations for impact, competence, and influence. - Paid volunteer days: take the time to volunteer, alone or with your team, for causes you care about. - Health and wellbeing support: access company wellbeing programs, sport subsidies, and mental health support through external partners. - Paid vacation days: take 30 days a year to rest, travel, and recharge. - Pension support: build your retirement savings with employer pension contributions. - Health and sports support benefit: get additional support for your health and sports activities. - Corporate benefits platform: get exclusive discounts across travel, retail, technology, and more. #LI-Remote #LI-JB1 About Lucanet Lucanet is the CFO solution platform for modern finance and tax teams, automating processes from consolidation and financial planning to tax compliance, ESG reporting, and cash management.
